Seeing God’s Healing Power
Last year, I was having a lot of trouble with double vision. I could not see very well at all, and in Bible College, my instructor had to read me my test because I could not see it. I knew something was not right, so I went to the doctor and they sent me for a CT scan. The scan showed an infection really close to the brain, which they called viral encephalitis. Ministers at the Bible College laid hands on me to receive healing. About 6 months later, I had another CT scan, and there was nothing on that scan! I was totally healed! I kept my confession of faith that God was healing me, and that He was the source of my healing, and never stopped believing and confessing that I was totally healed. I knew my Father was taking care of me and I give Him all the glory and honor. Praise God! God is the God of the impossible!

The Power of Spirit-Led Prayer
I developed excruciating pain in my left shoulder, which was not relieve by over-the-counter medications. I sought medical attention and after having a series of x-rays was told there were no abnormalities noted. However, the pain persisted and I was prescribed a steroid injection and physical therapy. In spite of following the doctor’s orders, I continued to experience increasing pain and became limited in the use of my shoulder to perform routine daily tasks.
As I attended the prayer classes at ICIBC, I began to understand that I could experience the power of spirit-led prayer. I began to seek God in prayer regarding my medical condition. I did not discuss my medical condition with anyone and I really believed God would supernaturally heal me.
As I was leaving the church one evening, one of my instructors stopped me and said, “The Holy Spirit showed me that you are having difficulty in your body. Can I pray for you?” I agreed to allow him to pray for me and he immediately placed his hand on my affected shoulder and began to pray. I felt a warm sensation penetrate my shoulder and was overcome by the power of the Holy Spirit. Praise God, the pain was relieved and I now have complete range of motion in my left shoulder!

The Love of God
I have increased in my understanding of the love of God during my studies at ICIBC. When I needed prayer the most, the staff at ICIBC reached out to me. It is so good to see the love of God in others who truly care for me. I experienced a breakthrough and answer to prayer that I desperately needed. Thank you ICIBC for your love and support!
